Hello fellow Christians,
This is not to put anyone down or build anyone up at the expense of another. This is simply truth and facts from your own Bible.
1. The first day of the week is not mentioned even once in all the 66 books of the Bible except incidentally for brethren to bring an offering for poor saints at Jerusalem.
That is in the book of Acts. I am not going to look it up for you, since we all need to search the Bible for ourselves. You look it up.
2. The Seventh day was instituted in Genesis when God "rested" from having done the creation. He has not authorized any other day as the Primary day of worship. Only the Saturday Sabbath, the Seventh day is authorized by God. Look that up for yourself.
Worship any day you want. Worship Him every day, but the Sabbath (Saturday) is the only day He calls His Holy Day. That is in Isaiah 58. Look it up.
3. If you read all scripture, let us do a little inductive reasoning. Sunday is not found, neither is Christmas nor Easter. Yet you all celebrate them, do you not?
4. No where in the Bible is there a commandment to keep Christmas or Easter, yet many do it with no authority and no proof , but they see the word Sabbath a thousand times or more and question its validity? Where is the logic for that?
5. The only day of the week that actually has a name is the Sabbath. It is in every language and every culture that Saturday (a word we use for the day of Saturn, a false Roman God) is really the Sabbath. This day is the primary day of worship for the GOD OF ISRAEL.
6. If the commandments are thrown away, then where do we get our morals. Those of you who say the commandments are no longer valid, then why do we not just kill, steal, have illicit sex, lie, worship false gods, dishonor parents, and go after our neighbor's wife, his car, his home, and his big-screen TV? IF the 10 are done away, then let us have all the fun we want.
If there is no commandment then there is no sin, because sin in the transgression or breaking of God's Holy 10 point law.
The reason your children commit murder and steal and hate parents is because you have NOT taught them God's Holy 10-point law.
7. My last point is the Sabbath is going to be kept in the Kingdom of God, which is soon to come. Those of you who teach that the law of commandments are done away had better think logically.
I know that was not the Apostle Paul's intent, to do away with God's commandments. Do you think he would have accepted Jesus if Jesus was teaching people to break God's law. Jesus argued with the Pharisees over HOW to keep the Sabbath. There was never any question that it should be kept.
If Jesus is our example, then we should do what He did when He was on earth. He kept the Sabbath, loved and healed many, and never broke one point of God's law or the 10 commandments.
If the commandments are done away, why does God tell the prophet JEREMIAH that in the latter days, in the regeneration of all things, HE is going to remove our stony hearts and replace them with hearts of flesh wherein are His Laws written forever.
I want His law written in my heart. Don't you? He needs no legislature to give his law 1,000 pages of amendments, 1700 pages like our U. S. Legislature.
His law is simply and straightforward.
Obey or perish.
We are saved by the life of Christ. His blood is the price for our salvation.
If you do not want the 10 commandments in your life, then do not take communion. You are living in sin. You hate the Living God.
If anyone out there can show me one Scripture where it actually says that "the Seventh day Sabbath is done away and is replaced by Sunday", I will mail him/her 1,000 dollars.
Remember two points.
The verse must say the 7th day worship has BEEN REPLACED by the first day worship. It must also say there is no more Sabbath.
Places where many "claim" to see where the commandments are done away are negated by the fact that Revelation the 21st chapters says "blessed are they who do His commandments".
Come on people. Is there something wrong with God's commandments. Without them our world is becoming CHAOS! Murders are multiplying.
